Murray is a gorgeous 1973 Westfalia SO72 (or Campmobile, as they were known in the US market ), who looks just great in his fresh coat of paint and all white interior. We think he’s in “mint” condition, hence his marvellous minty moniker.
He’s fitted with the early Westfalia poptop (forward hinging), containing a short double bunk that’s perfect for a couple of kids under ten. In the van, there’s a full length and very 'comfy' rock & roll double bed.
Powered by a later 2 litre engine and running on twin carbs, Murray pulls really well and will sit all day at 60.
Hire Murray and you get all the gear you’ll need thrown in, including a huge “driveaway” awning with inner tent and two more camp beds, a 3-way fridge, two ring Campingaz stove, hell we'll even chuck in the kitchen sink!!. . . UPDATE. . . forget 'throwing in the Kitchen sink. . . all our Camper now have 'indoor fitted' s/s sinks, electric taps AND gas hobs. . . . what more do you need! (answers on a post card please)
